The Jose Altuve 2,500th Hit Milestone Program is a quick way to add a top-tier second baseman to your Diamond Dynasty lineup. Released on September 11, the program celebrates Altuve reaching 2,500 career hits with the Houston Astros. If you are trying to improve your squad without spending all your resources on packs, this program is also a good opportunity to save your MLB Stubs for other Diamond Dynasty content.

Jose Altuve 2,500th Hit Milestone Reward

The main prize is a 99 OVR Milestone Series Jose Altuve. He is built around the strengths that have made him one of MLB's most reliable hitters: contact, speed, and the ability to produce extra-base hits.

Altuve reached 2,500 career hits on September 9 with a double against the Philadelphia Phillies. He became only the second player in Astros history to reach the mark after Craig Biggio. For Diamond Dynasty players, the milestone is more than just a real-life achievement because it gives you a strong free card with useful offensive tools.

The program reward track includes:

• 500 Points: The Show Pack
• 1,000 Points: 2,500 XP
• 1,500 Points: Ballin' is a Habit Pack
• 2,000 Points: 5,000 XP
• 2,500 Points: 99 OVR Milestone Jose Altuve

That makes the program especially useful if you want to earn XP and packs while working toward a new lineup piece. You can keep your buy MLB Stubs budget for cards or items you actually need instead of relying on random pack pulls.

How to Complete the Altuve Program

The fastest starting point is the five Moments. Each Moment gives 150 points, so completing all five immediately gives you 750 points.

After finishing the Moments, work through the Missions:

• Record 47 extra-base hits
• Earn 200 total bases
• Get 1,500 Parallel XP with Astros players
• Win 3 games in any mode
• Earn 750 PXP with a Jose Altuve card

The missions are flexible, so you can complete most of them while playing Conquest, Mini Seasons, Ranked, or other Diamond Dynasty modes. There is no need to force yourself into a game mode you normally do not play.

Best Way to Grind the Missions

An Astros-heavy lineup is probably the easiest setup for this program. Use several Astros players in offline games and work on extra-base hits, total bases, and Parallel XP at the same time.

If you already have a Jose Altuve card, put him into your lineup right away. His dedicated PXP mission can then progress naturally while you complete the other objectives.

You also do not necessarily need to finish every Mission. Once you reach 2,500 points, the 99 OVR Altuve is yours. Players who already have enough points should avoid unnecessary grinding and use their remaining time to work on other Diamond Dynasty programs.

Is 99 OVR Altuve Worth Getting?

Yes, especially if your lineup needs a reliable contact hitter at second base. Altuve is a good fit for players who prefer putting the ball in play, creating extra-base opportunities, and using speed to keep pressure on the defense.

He may not replace every power-focused second baseman, but his balanced offensive profile makes him useful as a starter, leadoff hitter, or matchup option. The fact that he is available through a relatively short program makes the reward even better.

For players building a competitive Diamond Dynasty team, completing programs like this is a smart way to strengthen the roster while keeping cheap MLB Stubs available for future upgrades.

Final Tips

Start with the five Moments, then use an Astros-focused lineup to stack multiple Missions together. Put an Altuve card in your lineup as early as possible, and prioritize objectives that overlap with your normal gameplay.

Once you hit 2,500 points, claim the 99 OVR Milestone Altuve and move on to other content. If you are also looking for MLB 26 Stubs for sale, remember that the Altuve program itself provides a completely free route to a strong Diamond Dynasty player, so there is no reason to rush into buying cards just to fill the second-base position.
