Celeste’s Keeping an Eye Out side quest in ARC Raiders sends players to Blue Gate in search of Bilguun’s hidden shelter. The objective sounds straightforward, but the location described in the quest log can be misleading, so knowing where to look saves a lot of time. Before heading out, it helps to keep your loadout simple and have useful ARC Raiders Items ready for movement and healing.

Start Your Search in Southwest Blue Gate

The key to this quest is ignoring the confusing reference to the southern edge of Baron Clearing. Bilguun’s shelter is actually located around the westernmost point of interest between Adorned Wreckage and Highway Collapse in the southwest section of Blue Gate.

After spawning into the map, head toward the southwest Highway Collapse area. As you get closer, look upward for a large broken section of highway suspended above the surrounding terrain. This damaged highway is the most useful landmark for finding the shelter.

Once you recognize the highway, you are much closer to the objective. There is no need to spend time searching around Baron Clearing itself, as doing so can take you far away from the actual location.

Prepare for an Easy but Awkward Climb

You do not need an expensive combat setup for Keeping an Eye Out. The quest does not require you to successfully extract anything after completing the objective, which means a cheap loadout is perfectly reasonable.

A personal zipline is especially helpful if you have one available. It is not mandatory, but it gives you a faster and safer way to reach the top of the broken highway. Healing items are also worth carrying because the unusual terrain around the shelter can result in fall damage.

The mission is more about movement and positioning than combat, so there is little reason to risk your best equipment. Focus on mobility and staying healthy while navigating the broken structures.

Reach the Top of the Highway

Once you arrive below the broken highway, you have two main ways to get upward. The easier method is to use a personal zipline. Deploy it from the ground toward the highway deck and ride upward.

Without a personal zipline, move around toward the western side of the area. Climb the terrain and make your way onto the top of the highway. From there, follow the bridge until you reach the broken edge.

Pay attention to your footing as you approach this point. The shelter is not sitting directly on the highway, so reaching the top is only the first part of the route.

Drop Down to Bilguun’s Shelter

Bilguun’s hidden shelter is positioned on a ledge beneath the broken end of the highway. This is the trickiest section because you need to reach a small lower platform before entering the hideout.

If you are using the existing zipline, ride down and back up while timing a jump toward the ledge. With careful movement, you can grab the edge and move into the shelter.

Another approach is to carefully drop backward from the top of the highway onto the lower platform. This can save you from using the zipline, although a poorly timed drop may cause fall damage. Move slowly rather than trying to rush this part.

Photograph the Eye Graffiti

After entering the shelter, head toward the back wall. You will find eye graffiti covering the wall, which is the actual objective for the side quest.

Approach the graffiti until the photograph prompt appears. Take the required picture, and the quest will immediately register as completed. You do not need to extract afterward to secure your progress.

This makes the quest relatively low-risk once you know the route. Even if you entered Blue Gate with basic equipment, there is no additional extraction objective waiting after the photograph.

Return to Celeste for Rewards

After the photo is taken, return to Speranza and speak with Celeste. Completing Keeping an Eye Out rewards you with Pulse Mines and Flame Spray.

The main challenge is therefore finding the correct location rather than completing a difficult fight. Remember the southwest Highway Collapse landmark, reach the broken highway, carefully access the hidden ledge, and photograph the graffiti. With a simple loadout and some healing supplies, the entire objective becomes much easier to manage.

Once you know where Bilguun’s shelter is located, future attempts become much more straightforward. A personal zipline can speed up the route, while careful movement helps avoid unnecessary fall damage.
