COD MW4 Sniper Tower to Final Mortars With U4GM
The tower sniper is your cue to get ready, not relax. During Counter Attack, dropping that enemy brings out the second mortar team, and you'll need to shift your aim straight down the road. That's the moment worth remembering before you attempt Long Shot. If you've been browsing MW4 Bot Lobbies, keep this campaign objective separate: success here comes down to spotting four mortar operators and shooting them before they leave. Don't keep watching the tower after the sniper falls. Your next targets are already appearing elsewhere.
Get comfortable on the hotel roof
Your shooting position becomes available after you've fought through the streets and cleared the hotel with your squad. Upstairs, collect the sniper rifle to begin the rooftop support sequence. Friendly soldiers below mark their position with green smoke, giving you a reference point while you search the surrounding buildings. Start by dealing with infantry and enemies carrying rocket launchers. Use this opening stretch to learn the view through your scope. You'll want to find the right rooftop and the distant parking structure without searching for them under pressure.
Watch the right side after the tank
When the enemy tank arrives, switch to the rooftop missile launcher and destroy it. Then get back on the rifle. The first mortar pair appears on the building to your right immediately afterward. Both operators need to go down, so don't assume destroying their position or hitting one soldier is enough. They stand close enough for a single shot to catch both if your angle lines up. Take that opportunity if it's there, but don't waste their brief appearance trying to arrange it.
| Target pair | Appearance cue | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| First pair | Tank destroyed | Rooftop on the right |
| Second pair | Tower sniper eliminated | Far end of the parking structure |
Leave yourself ready for the distant pair
With the first two operators down, resume protecting your allies. More enemies appear across the rooftops before you're warned about the sniper in the tower on your left. Clear him, then move your scope toward the far end of the parking garage, roughly three or four floors high. The remaining mortar crew appears there. Distance makes these shots less forgiving, and a save may occur after your first hit. Have the second target located before you fire rather than searching afterward.
Keep enough ammunition ready for both operators.
Confirm each target falls before moving on.
Reload the checkpoint promptly if either escapes.
Make all four operators count
Long Shot awards 50 Gamerscore for eliminating both mortar teams during this sequence. Players considering MW4 Bot Lobbies for sale should remember that this objective rests on their campaign shots. Learn the two appearance cues, keep your rifle ready, and finish each pair before returning to the wider fight.
